Event Description
Dolores Park Social & March to the Castro
It goes without an invite that San Francisco LGBT Pride & the Dyke March will go on! Dolores Park will be packed chock full of ladies, queers, allies and lovers & aficionadas of all things DYKEY!
Enjoy music hosted by deejays from about 1pm until about 5pm in the park!

At 5pm proceed to the corner of 18th & Dolores (on 18th) to line up for the March and hear our amazing Emcee Rosa Hernandez get us riled up for the march. We'll have an opening blessing from Bay Area American Indian Two Spirits, Speakers: Krys Freeman and Cherrie Moraga, and a performance by Sistah Boom!
At 6pm, we MARCH, ride with Dykes, Bike with Gays, Trolley with our Elders, and dance with our lovers all the way to the Castro Pink Party! At the dyke march after party, we'll have DJ Black, DJ Rumorosa, Aima the Dreamer * Dakini * and more entertaining us through the night!

A march for all dykes and all women. Men are asked to be allies and support the march from the sidelines.

*** Changes for 2012 Dyke March: No stage in the park. Speakers and live performance at the intersection of 18th and Dolores at 5 with access area. March starts one hour earlier at 6.
